Walking With God

As we walk, we hear God’s voice in birdsong,
Passing flowers show His face,
With the fragrance of His presence.

This is of the oldest stories
Something Man found true each generation,
Just as we do now.

So seek beyond the busy world,
Where men and machines seek endless progress.
Seek God’s kingdom, here and now.

This world around us is a flower-garden,
A place designed from the start,
As a home for God and us to share.

Walking with children, Walking with elders,
Strolling, in the sun and the breeze
Feeling the peace of completion all around us.

So let us walk together, in God’s garden,
You and I
And God
